DESCRIPTION: Wild foraged Golden Kelp (Ecklonia radiata), sun dried and packaged in whole leaf form for you to use in your home cooking.
Use as you would a bay leaf, adding to stocks, broths, soups, stews and sauces. Can also be ground to use as a powdered seasoning or rehydrated in hot water, sliced thinly and added to dishes.
Packed full of important nutrients such as iodine, calcium, vitamin B12, protein, omegas and fatty acids, and so much more!
*Please note some of the kelp pieces have extruded some fine mineral salt during the drying process. This is completely normal. It looks like a fine white dusting. Don’t be concerned, it is actually the tasty umami salts you can see! Enjoy.
