Pearl Couscous 500g
Couscous Lovers… This is a classic Lebanese delight, a form of rolled semolina, similar to couscous, except much larger and is also known as Giant or Fat Couscous.
Blended with aromatic spices, these juicy pearls add great texture and flavour to any dish. A great addition to soups, stews and salads and combines beautifully with vegetables, lamb or chicken. In Israeli this is traditionally the heart of home-cooked meals to be enjoyed with family and friends.
How Much? 500g ~ 3 cups dried pearl cous cous. 1/3 cup dried / one serve
1.Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and add 100g of Pearl Couscous
2. Saute until couscous turns light brown. Add 1 cup of boiling water
3. Cover and simmer for 16 min or until all water is absorbed, stirring occassionally.
Ingredients: Wheat, rosemary extract
Storage: Store in a cool dry area away from direct sunlight
